The
nature of inspiration
We are expanding
universes. We grow, develop and die. That
is why the most important thing in life is what you make of
it. Without our
personal inspiration and imagination we are lost in a world of
meaningless data. Inspiration is a filter that transforms data
into information that grows through communication and
engagement into a body of knowledge. In the end this kind of
knowledge might become your own personal wisdom.
Creating
firsthand experiences
We are all
consumers, one way or the other, but to take the lead we have
to transform our inspiration into firsthand experiences. This
acting upon life creates the conflicts and hardships we need
to develop determination and perseverance. We overcome these
obstacles by using the energy from our inspiration to create
the enthusiasm that gives us the wings to fly across these
borders.
Including a
reminding factor
Imagination
triggers the belief that you can do it. This perception is
critical. Therefore I pay tribute to the sources of my
inspiration. I do this because they have served me to sense life
as something that has meaning and beauty and makes it worth to
challenge yourself to make a contribution. The Nature of
Inspiration also includes a reminding factor:
Putting your
passion to the test
Play can lead
us to what I have called a Work. A Work can inspire us to get
involved into Serious business. Serious business can be
transformed into Joyous business, and Joyous business increases
the fullfillment of our lives. There's really no end to what you
can imagine and achieve when putting your passion to the test.
